Snap Shot: Sniper Rotations

Just a quick note, agents.  I've already posted an assignment today but this is less about tomfoolery and more about mechanics.  If you're a sniper (and I assume you are because we are to classes what sunshine is to plants) you'll want to vary your rotation while operating.

Lately, I've taken to leading with Series of Shots instead of Ambush or Snipe; simple reason, really.  Series of Shots has a high probability of triggering a critical, thusly making your Ambush a short cast.  For me, it drops Ambush to a 1.4 cast, 1.3 if Sniper Volley is up.  The real icing on the cake is this: it allows you to Ambush, Followthrough, and Snipe without losing the instant Snipe for popping into cover.

Here's my set up:

1. SOS
2. Ambush
3. Followthrough
4. Snipe
5. Orbital Strike
6. Explosive Probe
7. Crit Relic
8. SOS
9. Rapid Fire
10. SOS
11. SOS

Also remember to work in your Toxic Dart for the DoT as well as Shatter Shot on bosses to lower armor a smidge.

*EDIT*

Mana from heaven!  Patch 1.2.1 notes just went up and we're getting damage buffs!  Snipe, Followthrough, Ambush, Series of Shots, and Takedown are all getting buffed by 5%.  BWAHAHAHAHAHA!
